The City of Ammon is hiring a Customer Service Specialist. The principal responsibilities of this position are customer service, assisting with utilities, general office work, and provide clerical support to the City Clerk’s Office by inputting payment data and scanning. This position is directly supervised by the City Clerk. A self-starting individual is essential to this position. The principal duties of this class are performed in a general office environment and include typing and 10-key skills. Starting wage is $11 – $13/hr depending on experience. The Parks Department is accepting applications for Seasonal Maintenance Workers. The rate of pay is $9.00/hr. The position will start in May and go thru early fall, depending on weather. Please fill out the General Employment Application and submit it at the City Building, 2135 S Ammon Road. Idaho law requires an individual to be at least 17 years old to operate a City vehicle. The successful applicant will be required to hold a valid driver’s license and able to operate a City vehicle. Applications will be accepted until all positions are filled

The Pool Department is accepting applications for Lifeguards and Head Lifeguards for the Ammon Pool. Lifeguards will start at the end of May/beginning of June. The Ammon Pool is outdoors and is open June 2 – August 25. The pay will vary, based on experience. The City of Ammon Public Works hiring full-time Seasonal Laborer. Work entails sanitation, water, wastewater services and street maintenance. Construction and equipment operation experience is helpful.  CDL preferred, but not required.  Physical activities of the position include the ability to lift 50 pounds, as well as the ability to operate hand and power tools.  Applicant must have a valid driver’s license. Starting wage is $10-$13/hr depending on experience, the position is full-time seasonal. The Ammon Fire Department accepting applications for Custodian/Administrative Assistant. Working three days per week, five hours per day for a total of fifteen hours per week, $10 – $11/hour depending on experience. The individual will clean the fire station and perform administrative responsibilities. Complete application and return to Ammon City Office, 2135 S Ammon Road. Applications will be accepted until all positions are filled
