City of Ammon seeking Policy Analysis Intern to assist with special projects, cost benefit analysis, and research that will help guide policy decisions for the community. Currently enrolled students of bachelors or masters programs focusing on public policy, political science, public administration, business administration, economic, statistical analysis, or a related field is preferred. Internship hours may be flexible, generally 20-40 hours per week. $12.00-14.00 per hour, depending on experience, skill set, and educational background. The Ammon Fire Department is accepting applications for Resident Firefighters. The Resident Firefighter Program provides a unique opportunity as well as free room and living expenses. Residents are trained as Firefighter/EMTs and given the responsibilities of responding with fire apparatus to emergency scenes, EMS calls and station detail duties. No prior training is needed to apply, but will be considered.
