The Water Department is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the City’s water pumping and distribution system. This involves reading meters for usage, monitoring flows and making adjustments, and repairing leaking or broken water lines.

Water Proclamation:
The City of Ammon adopts and actively enforces a ‘Water Proclamation’ by City Council Resolution. The Proclamation goes into effect on May 1st and remains in effect until September 30th. The water proclamation is intended to enable the city to conserve water during the summer months. Residents will want to review the details by downloading and reviewing the most recent Proclamation.
